Founded in 2000, Coclico (French for "poppy flower") is the creation of a French expatriate living in the United States. Sandra Canselier grew up in Brittany, France, where her family has been making shoes for three generations. It was only natural that her background and her love for New York would lead her to start her own line and open her first store/showroom in Nolita. Coclico is inspired by the increasingly important notion that we are all linked. The designer believes that each of our actions have effects beyond what we've previously understood. Coclico shoes feature beautiful, hand-finished vegetable tanned leathers processed with clean and modern techniques. This season, Coclico has introduced fresh silhouettes with a strong, yet playful edge.

Coclico makes awesome shoes and these are one of them!
They have a cool already distressed look. They run a bit narrow so I sized up a half size and they're perfect. Heel is high so you need to be a fan and able to walk ok in 3+inch shoes; not 100% ideal if you are planning to wear/stand for over 5hrs. They look great with tights & tunics and fit great under bootcut jeans.

These shoes are super cute and well constructed. I agree with the other review that these run narrow, I wear a six in everything and they are snug. Beautiful leather.

The picture looks better, than what they actually look like in person. The look is like if they were been worn already. The leather is opaque. So, if you really like the used look, go for it, otherwise dont even try it. Maybe in other color would not mind, but black, looks like a dark gray. I do like the style, thought. But the reason I returned them was because I got the wrong size.
