Founded in 2000, Coclico (French for "poppy flower") is the creation of a French expatriate living in the United States. Sandra Canselier grew up in Brittany, France, where her family has been making shoes for three generations. It was only natural that her background and her love for New York would lead her to start her own line and open her first store/showroom in Nolita. Coclico is inspired by the increasingly important notion that we are all linked. The designer believes that each of our actions have effects beyond what we've previously understood. Coclico shoes feature beautiful, hand-finished vegetable tanned leathers processed with clean and modern techniques. This boots is a must. Can wear it all day without any complain. Order half size bigger. The circumference is a bit narrow so it will be a bit hard for thicker jeans. But thighs is no problem. I got the piombo color and i would not mind having the same boots with a different color. I loved Coclico, very sleek looking! Worth paying for since it lasts for a long time!

I received these beautiful boots yesterday, wore it all day today and don't feel like taking them off. So, I am writing this review from home, still wearing my new boots. They are that comfortable.
I have narrow calves (11.8") and heard about Coclico suiting narrow calves from online product reviews. These boots are nicely fitted around my ankles. Even though there is a gap around my calves, they still look great with skinny jeans or tights. I am 5' 4" and they come up right below my knees which is a perfect height for me. I love the simplicity of Coclico boots. I believe in simple and elegant beauty and Coclico is just that. As for sizing, I usually wear a 6 or 6.5. My European size is 36.5. Since my size wasn't available, I bought these in 37 and they are a nice fit with socks. I think I could comfortably fit into my own size since my feet are narrow.
Buy these if you are thinking about it. They are pricy but so are a lot of beautiful things in life!
