Arche Shoes is a family-owned company which has been in existence for almost 40 years. Based in the Castle of La Loire region in France, the Arche brand was founded by Pierre Robert Hélaine, a true visionary who imagined and designed his shoes with the well being of men and women in mind. They fit so well it's almost like custom made. They are also very comfortable. I can wear them for a whole day. The platform adds nice height and the shock absorbing bottom works very well, my feet do not feel tired at all. The price is steep, but with some discount it's well worth it.

There's an old saying: "Pay peanuts--you get monkies!" These boots illustrate this well. They were expensive but they are AMAZING. Well built, comfortable, durable (I've worn Arche for years) and, in the end, one saves money by investing in quality goods. (Like in Moonstruck with the copper pipes!!!). They are great on the feet--another reason to avoid cheap footwear like the plague!!
